An Icey Freebie

I've got a new kit out today! I've been wanting to work with this pallet for awhile now, and the winter season has hit us hard recently with LOTS of snow (lol - well lots for me) So I have had snow on the brain.

CU String

Ok, so I have been having fun digging through my craft closet and scanning stuff and extracting it. I found a bunch of fun string that I have been playing with and these are the results of some of that. You may recognize them as having been used in my kits in the past. Now you can download them and recolor to your hearts content! I found LOTS of fun stuff that I extracted for my next kit, so make sure you come see the fun I had - starting April 6th!!

CU Bow!

Ok, first let me say Thanks for all your patience with all my technical difficulties. We were using a friends private server and had problems because there were soooo many of you downloading my stuff!! So, for now, I am once again stuck with 4shared! I am planning to get a QP for the Music of my Heart Kit out to you, but things have been getting a bit crazy here. I have a few exciting announcements coming up, but that also means that I'm going to have to start changing a few things around here. My husband and I just found out that we are expecting baby number 4 and so my energy levels and brain cell levels have plummeted! I have also been offered the chance to sell my stuff in a store. As much as I would love to leave all my freebies up indefinitly, as long as I have to use 4shared that is just not possible. As is, I am about 3 kits away from totally running out of room on my 4shared account! I am still deciding how I want to solve this. I have been considering the method that is used by some wonderful designers out there like Vicki of A Work in Progress and Nicole of Digi Designs by Nicole. I am also considering just taking off the oldest stuff as I need room. Some of these older ones may get re-vamped and then show up in the store. So here is a question for you out there who actually download this stuff... (please leave responses in the chat box or in the comments)

- A set up like Nicoles where all my kits are offered as freebies for about a week and then they go to the store

or

- A couple freebies a month that are ALWAYS (as long as I have room) free and a couple kits a month that go straight to the store without ever being freebies.

Haha, if you don't have any opinion or don't care, then I will randomly choose by flipping a coin...well maybe not, but you get the idea!!

Ok so now that my dilemna has been laid out for you, here is your freebie! I've got a CU bow today. If you look closely, it's the bow that was used on the frames in the Music of my Heart kit. In this file is a layered .psd file, a layered .tif file and a .png file.

CU Freebie Flower

Today in honor of my baby's first birthday, I've got a CU Flower for you! The file contains a layered psd document and a layered tiff file. I can't believe my baby boy is one already!! He's so fun and so sweet! New CU bow freebie

Today I've got another CU item for you. This satin bow comes with a layered tiff file, a psd file and a png file. Hopefully that will cover all the bases! You may notice that I don't include a TOU with my commercial use stuff, that is because you may do what you want with them. No credit is required. CU flower

So this is a flower that I made while trying out ways to make flowers. :) I really like the way it turned out and even used it in my "After Dusk" kit. Included in the freebie are the 3 colored flowers shown in the preview, a layered psd file (for Photoshop) and each individual piece as a greyscale png file. A CU Freebie!

I've been having some fun making bows and trying out different ways to make them in the hopes of figuring out a way to make an action that would make a bow. I have not figured out the action yet, but in the process, I have managed to make some bows that I think look pretty good, so I am going to give them out here as commercial use templates. Each of these will include a layered psd template file and also a .png overlay file. Having never used any program other than photoshop, I don't know how useful this will be to all you non-photoshop users, so let me know if it is worth doing! Hope you like my bow and if you use it in a kit or something I would love to see it, and would gladly link to your site to show off how you have used it!

Also, don't forget to vote! The month is coming to an end and I'm getting excited! There will be a November Desktop coming next week, and at the start of November, ADSD has a huge blog train again and I'm VERY excited about my part!!
