CT Call and December Wallpaper
Well I've finally decided to try and put together a Creative Team. I've never actually been on a creative team, so this is all new territory for me. I think that this is a step I need to take if I am going to try selling anything in a store. The requirements are fairly light, but will expand to include posting in the Taggers Scraps gallery when I start selling there. I'm hoping for 4 people, but honestly, I am just hoping someone applies! If you are interested please email me with a couple of your LO's or the link to your blog, or gallery. Newbies welcome! I will send more information to any who are interested so as to keep this post less tedious!
Also I have a freebie for you today- your December wallpaper. As usual it is in 3 sizes and .png format! For all you non-Christmas people, I'm sorry, I haven't finished my winter kit yet! Download HERE

CU flower
So this is a flower that I made while trying out ways to make flowers. :) I really like the way it turned out and even used it in my "After Dusk" kit. Included in the freebie are the 3 colored flowers shown in the preview, a layered psd file (for Photoshop) and each individual piece as a greyscale png file. If you use it in a kit, send me a link and I would be glad to show it off here along with a link to your blog or store. Enjoy!

Turkey Time QP and BIG news!!
Well, here it is, your Turkey Trouble QP! Hope you enjoy it! Check back next week for a CU freebie and your December wallpaper. (I know I say this every month, but I can't believe it's almost December, This month has gone so fast, and so has the year) ******This link has expired!******
And here are my ever adorable kids on a trip to a local pumpkin patch.
Ok, so on to my big news! I have been asked to sell my kits in a wonderful store called Taggers Scraps. I am so excited that someone thinks my stuff is good enough to be store-worthy! I am going to wait until the new year to start. So what does this mean for all your wonderful scrappers out there? For starters, my kits will continue to be full sized kits. Also, I will be putting together a CT sometime in the next month. Finally, (and I know this is what you are really looking to hear) my blog will continue to be stocked with freebies. I will continue to do the ADSD blog train, and one kit a month, along with the QP's and such. Also everthing on my blog will stay free on my blog. The things going into the store will be newer and bigger. (at least that is the idea!) and if I run out of ideas the store kits may end up coordinating with the freebie on my blog.

My First Tutorial
So tonight I have the tutorial that was overwhelmingly voted for. Out of the 4 options, a tutorial on creating torn paper was by far the winner. I will warn you that this is a long tutorial. Partially because I am a bit long winded, but mostly because I go into a lot of detail. Hopefully this tutorial is detailed enough for the photoshop newbie, but also provides some ideas for the more advanced users. The tutorial is interspersed with screen shots to help explain. I have included the two examples that I created while doing the tutorial in the zip document. This heart is one of the examples found in the file. Anyway, leave some love and if you have any feed back on my tutorial, please leave that as well. (If it's negative, please be gentle!!! ) :)

Turkey Trouble!!
Ok, here it is, my kit for the month. This is the kit used to make the November wall paper and my festive blog BG and header. Special thanks to Deb of Scrappin' Cop for her turkey template. Also to Hummie of Hummie's World for the color pallet. This actually started out as a color challenge in her forum. Anyway, much love to you all, and withouth further ado, here is "Turkey Trouble!"

Shabby Watermelon Add On
Ok, so as promised, here is the Shabby Watermelon Add On. I included all the stuff I made for the QP that wasn't in the kit, and some other things that I just had fun making! Scroll down a few posts to find the original kit which, like everything else here, is free! If you notice on the side I have put up a shout box since 4shared has made it hard to post comments now... So please (yes I'm pathetic and I'm begging) leave some love! I do all this simply because it's fun, not because I get any profit out of it, so thanks are greatly appreciated and help me feel like the time spent is worth it! Also check back next week for my latest kit "Turkey Trouble" and the promised tutorial! ******This link has expired!******
This has been included with the full kit and can be found in my store as of March 1st

Shabby Watermelon QP
Well this has been a crazy week! This time of the year is always hectic around here! My sweet husband is a wrestling coach, and so from now to the end of the season in February, the only time I will really get to see him is the little bit of time around the holidays, when we are busy doing holiday stuff! Never fear though, your flow of freebies will not flag or fail!! First off I have a QP from my Shabby Watermelon Kit. Tomorrow, I will post a Shabby Watermelon Add On. I've never really done an add on before but this time, as I made the QP, I found that I had lots more ideas floating around to go with this that just hadn't made it into the kit because of the deadline. So the Add on should show up tomorrow and then on Monday I've got a Fun little Thanksgiving Kit for you called Turkey Trouble! So have fun with this sweet little QP!

Template 2
Download HERE
Ok, I tried something new with this template. just like the last one it contains psd files in each size and png files of the main elements for you to use if you don't have photoshop. I have also included a layered tiff file in each size. The tiff files should be use-able for any program... Since I don't have any other programs, I can't vouch for this, so if some of you wonderful scrapbookers out there will try it out and let me know if it is worth doing in the future I would really appreciate it!!
Here is a page I made with the template using my "Funky Fresh" kit. Heehee, my kids are so cute!! :)

This is a picture of my DH and I at our wedding reception. I used the Pioneer Women "vintage" filter on the photo and just dropped it into the QP, and added a title and date.

Shabby Watermelon and Sunshine Update!
****Note - This post has been altered so the link goes directly to the 4shared download link. The contest was fun, but little newbie designer me isn't quite ready for the big time yet! But hey! At least y'all got some free kits out of it! Anyway, I'm not really sure I entered the contest so I could sell stuff, I kinda just entered for the challenge. :) I kinda like feeling like a pushover and giving all my stuff away for free (and oddly enough that isn't just the rejection talking and it's not even sarcastic!!) :)****

Check my store for the expanded version!
So for round two in the sunshine contest, I needed to make another mini kit. We were given two pictures to gain our inspiration from, then make a kit with at least 2 extracted elements and and a full alpha. So once again, go check out the Sunshine Studios gallery where you can download this kiit and all the other amazing submissions! Enjoy!
Check back in the next couple of days for some QP's! (Haha I know, I'm a bit behind on that, but this contest has kept me busy!)

After Dusk - ADSD Blog Train Freebie!!
I would like to start this post off by making a request. Many of you have seen and used the beautiful kits by Summer Driggs. Once again she has put out a beautiful kit, but with the kit comes a must-read story. Please take a minute or two of your time to read the story and show your support.
Now, on a lighter note, it is now November, in otherwords, it's time for another HUGE blog train collaboration! I had TONS of fun with the color scheme and theme. I am a huge fan of musicals and one of my favs has always been "My Fair Lady." As I looked at the color scheme and the theme I kept thinking of the scene where Freddie is dancing around wrought iron fences singing "On the Street Where You Live" That is the inspiration for this kit. My brain latched onto the wrought iron idea and it just flew! I had a hard time stopping! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and make sure to look for the wonderful QP's and BB pages made with my part of the kit further down the train!
******This link has expired!******
Be sure to look for this kit in my store!
**** Note - it has been kindly brought to my attention that I forgot the 'p' in my plain alpha. (Apparently, I didn't fully learn my alphabet in grammar school!) The link has been updated to include this very important letter (for with out the letter p we have no pie!) If your version is lacking, and you feel a desperate need to have the letter p and flipping the letter d just won't do, and you really don't want to re-download the whole alpha, please feel free to email me at flowerscrap@gmail.com and I will happily make amends for my oversight! Hugs, Deanna****
Willow Grace Desins Created some Beautiful BB pages with my part of the kit. You can click on the image to be taken straight to her blog to download!
Debbie at Digital Keepsakes has also made a couple of beautiful QP's! Once again, click on her preview to be taken to her blog for a download.
If some of these pieces aren't up yet, be patient! These people live all over the world, and live all kinds of lives, If something isn't up, check back in a day or so! Also, be sure to leave some love for these wonderful people and all the time and effort they have put into this freebie! Enjoy!!
