Ok, I realize that this is a day late, so I'm sorry!!!!!! My husband coaches a wrestling team and he has asked me to do the poster for the team, so I spent all last night working on that. Haha, I don't get paying gigs very often, so when I do they kinda take first priority! Anyway, I hope you like it. It was made with stuff from the Thanksgiving kit that I will be giving out some time next month. Also, I will be deleting the files of the old wall papers to conserve a bit of room on 4shared. If you really want an outdated wallpaper feel free to email me and I will send it to you :) But I figure the general population isn't going to care for old pages with last months calendar! I will still leave them up for the entire month that they are for, and I am a pack-rat so they will probably be on my hard drive forever. :p
Some more exciting news, I made it past the first round in the Sunshine Studios Design Competition! Of course, everyone who submitted on time made it...so aside from the fact that I'm promt, it's not exactly a reflection on me that I made it! Anyway, the next part starts tomorrow, so look for some more freebies from that, and of course keep wishing me luck, cuz I'm going to need it all!!!! Anyway, enjoy the wallpaper (in 3 sizes and png format as usual) and come back on Saturday!!!

BIG news!! (at least for me!)
Well, this is going to be kinda a big post. I have so much exciting stuff going on right now! First, the wonderful ladies at CJS creations have given me an award! I'm so excited. They have some beautiful stuff so go check out their blog!
I would like to nominate Suzanne at Purple Tulip Designs
She has beautiful kits and awesome templates and QP's. Best of all she does all her QP's and templates in 3 sizes! :)
I would also like to nominate Nicole at Digi-Designs by Nicole Her kits are beautiful and she offers tons of freebies! Her papers are just gorgeous!
Finally I have have signed up to participate in the design contest at Sunshine Scrap Studios. After looking at the list of designers that are participating, I have gotten a bit intimidated! I think my stuff looks good enough that I wont' be laughed out of the competition, but beyond that I don't know how much of a shot I have at this. Either way, I'll have fun giving it a try and you are going to benefit with tons of freebies!! For "Mission One" we were given 2 color pallets and told to pick one and create a mini kit. As you may have noticed, I don't do 'mini' so well, it started out small and just kept getting bigger and bigger!! Anyway, click on the link to take you to the Sunshine Studios Mission One gallery. There you will find the links to download this kit and you will be able to see and download all the other kits that have been put together for this competition.
****Note - This post has been altered so the link goes directly to the 4shared download link. The contest was fun, but little newbie designer me isn't quite ready for the big time yet! But hey! At least y'all got some free kits out of it! Anyway, I'm not really sure I entered the contest so I could sell stuff, I kinda just entered for the challenge. :) I kinda like feeling like a pushover and giving all my stuff away for free (and oddly enough that isn't just the rejection talking and it's not even sarcastic!!) :)****

So anyway, wish me luck and check back tomorrow for your November wallpaper, and again on November 1st for the huge ADSD collab!

A CU Freebie!
I've been having some fun making bows and trying out different ways to make them in the hopes of figuring out a way to make an action that would make a bow. I have not figured out the action yet, but in the process, I have managed to make some bows that I think look pretty good, so I am going to give them out here as commercial use templates. Each of these will include a layered psd template file and also a .png overlay file. Having never used any program other than photoshop, I don't know how useful this will be to all you non-photoshop users, so let me know if it is worth doing! Hope you like my bow and if you use it in a kit or something I would love to see it, and would gladly link to your site to show off how you have used it!
Also, don't forget to vote! The month is coming to an end and I'm getting excited! There will be a November Desktop coming next week, and at the start of November, ADSD has a huge blog train again and I'm VERY excited about my part!! My 3 year old daughter has been watching me make stuff for it, and she keeps looking over my shoulder saying "oooh that's pretty mommy!!" (makes me feel good!) So come check out this awesome collaboration on November 1st!

Spookarific - Halloween Freebie
This kit started out as a challenge at ADSD forums. We were supposed to make a kit with a color pallet and then we exchanged QP and BB pages. Well, what you see here in the preview is what came in the kit that I created for that. Fortunately for you I got vary excited about this kit, and couldn't seem to stop. So what you see in the preview is not even close to all of it. There are a couple of alphas, and some more random elements that didn't make the preview. You may have noticed my Halloween blog makeover, obviously it was done with this kit. :) The alpha used in my festive banner is one of the ones made for this kit. I ended up having to split this into 2 downloads because it was almost 100 MB!!! Anyway, don't forget to vote for a tutorial topic, and then look for a spooky Halloween QP with this kit in a few days! Also check back next week for a fun CU freebie! :) HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Sugar Shoppe QP Freebie
******This link has expired!******
Remember, if you are just getting here for the blog trains, keep scrolling down down for the full kits that go with these QP's! Here are my Sugar Shoppe QP's and don't forget to check back next week for my fun Halloween Kit!
You may have also noticed a new poll on the right side. Starting next month, I'm going to try and do a tutorial for you. I work in Photoshop and therefore many of these will be program specific, but if you will vote on what you would most like to learn, the topic that receives the highest number of votes will be the tutorial for the next month. If yours doesn't get picked, don't lose hope, it will go back up for voting agian next month! So cast your vote and check back for the tutorial next month. The topics will range from simple basics, to more advanced and complex concepts. I will specify which is which!

Fall Splendor QP Freebie!
******This link has expired!******
Well since I've made a QP for each of the kits I've given out here so far, I figured I wouldn't make an exception for these Blog Train kits. So, This month you will get 3 kits (yes there is still one coming) and 3 QP's to go with them. So here is a QP I made from the Fall Splendor Kit (haha, hence the name of the post!) I have decided to start doing all the QP's in 3 different size formats for all of us who scrap rectangle. Also, as usual, these are in PNG format so it is simple to just plop your pictures behind the page. Anyway, hope you all enjoy them and check back in a few days for a Sugar Shoppe QP. Also sometime next week, look for my latest kit! And for your viewing pleasure, my sweet little girls all decked out if Fall color, putting the QP to use. :)

A Freebie Template...
Ok, so I decided to try my hand at making a template... I don't usually use templates myself since I scrap 11x8.5 and there aren't as many templates out there for that size, so I'm not really sure if I'm any good at this or if my templates are boring. A while ago I scrapped a page for my oldest daughters first attempt at solid food and ended up really liking the way the page turned out, so as I was playing around with the idea of a template, I decided to take this page and turn it into a template for you.
Download HERE
I have included this template in all 3 sizes. In the zip file are 3 psd templates and also the individual pieces in png format for non-photoshop users. If you like this, or like this idea, let me know so I will continue making them. If there is no interest, or I suck at making them let me know also! (but kindly please!!) Also for your viewing pleasure, here is the page that I made which inspired this template. The Papers and Ribbons and Elements in this LO are from the "Citrus Freeze" kit by Anne Langpap from Two Peas in a Bucket
