It is easy to find graduation kits around scrap land - but they all seemed more like they fit high school graduation - my kids aren't there yet! (and thankfully won't be for awhile!) I wanted something a bit more cutesey :) For preschool and kindergarten age kids. LOL - it turns out a lot of my CT members have kids who are graduating from preschool and kindergarten too - so they turned in some awesome layouts!
Manda K (who is FAR more creative than I will ever be) also made some hybrid projects including a teacher gift with a note from her son and a picture with a wide frame for signing. I just loved these ideas! What a sweet teacher gift!
I am also making a desperate attempt at figuring out what to do with the piles and piles of school work that they sent home with my kids and that my oldest (who inherited all my hoarding tendencies) wants to keep. I saw a fun idea on Pinterest, where a woman took a hanging file folder for each of her kid - one folder per grade. Then on the front she included their school pic for that year and some information. I thought that looked like a wonderful idea. So as a little freebie for you - I made a printable that you can drop your child's pic into and have them answer some questions - then attach the paper to the folder with their school work in it. Here is an example - The one I filled out for my big kindergartner - I hope to fill these out for every year of their school and give them their box with the memories and the school work and awards when they graduate from high school. So here is a png file with all that awesomeness - obviously the one I'm giving you is minus the cute pictures of my adorable kid - and it has the prompts, but not the answers :)
Click on the image to download your freebie and start preserving those memories!
