Ok - if any of you have been wondering what happened to me - The Designer Darling Competition has sapped away all my time and energy - I have spent the last 2 months working on one kit!! LOL - however I am VERY excited about this kit!! So here's a little sneak peek of the kit - and check back later in the week for a chance to win this kit!

OK - so I got to scrapping today and realized that i was only a few layouts away from being done with 2009 (yes I know... I'm a bit behind....) anyway - with that realization - I decided to work on those pics.... and in the process - I looked for some snowy quick pages - and found this awesome set from Scrappin' Serenity! I am always looking for ones that can be easily altered for rectangle, and was excited to see these ones. I popped my pics in and added titles and dates and TA DA!!!!! So if you are still finding yourselves with snow pics - here's a quick and easy (and CUTE!) solution! Click the image to go snag these!


Here's just one of the QP's that I altered - and played with. I used Pioneer Woman's Vintage Photo Action on the pics and played with the color - the pics were HORRIBLE and blurry to begin with - but i really wanted to use them. :)

CT stuff

I got some awesome stuff to show you from my CT bosses!

First up is a fun little non-traditional valentines day kit called "No Looking Back" by Pixiemama Designs. I just adore the colors in this kit!! Click on the image to go snag it at her store.
This is the LO I did with the kit - the baby blanket I made for my youngest just matched perfectly with the peach in the kit - so I HAD to use some of the pics of her from the hospital in her little outfit!! Plus this LO got me LOTD at Scrappity-Doo-Dah!

Voting has started for round 3 of the Designer Darling Competition! This round has been amazing - they have really all stepped it up this round! Plus - since a description of the why they did what they did has really let me get to know the contestants a bit more this round. It's been a lot of fun and the kits are really creative!
